Summer Relays

Thank you to everyone who participated in and helped at the Summer Relays this year. It was a lovely sunny evening and over £500 was raised for Chemogiftbags.

Results are below.


This event started back in 1990, it is a fun event no matter your ability, age or pace. The real skill is knowing your pace and guessing it right without wearing a watch or carrying a phone.

Before you sign up you’ll need to provide:

  • The name of your team or full names of the other people on your team
  • Optionally ,the name of your club, if you belong to one
  • The time in which you forecast completing the course to the nearest second.
  • A contact email address
  • In case of emergency name and number for each member

Rules:

  • Teams of three comprising any combination of gender and ability.
  • Predicted times must be given prior to the event. And once submitted cannot be changed.
  • No watches to be worn or phones on the course.
  • The winning team is the one closest to their predicted times.
  • If a team member is missing, another member may run in their place, but to their predicted time.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and to the person closest to their predicted time.

† Minimum age is 16.
