BRAMLEY 20/10 ROAD RACES – 16TH FEBRUARY 2025
The Bramley 20/10 Road Races will take place on Sunday 16 February 2025
Race starts at 10.30am
at Bramley Primary School RG26 5AH
The race will be run under UK Athletics rules

Race bibs will be posted to those who enter before 26 January 2025.
Entries after 26 January 2025 bibs will need to be collected on the morning of the race from the Race HQ
Entries close at midnight on the 8th February 2025 or sooner if race limit is reached.
There are strictly no entries on the day.

Race Parking
Due to circumstances beyond our control race parking this year will be at: Mereoak Park & Ride, Mereoak Lane, Three Mile Cross, Reading, RG7 1PB. what3words ///chart.shapes.orchestra
There is strictly no parking at the school or the surrounding roads. A shuttle bus service will be in operation from 7.40am on race day to make the 15 minute journey to Bramley.
The buses will run approximately every 20 mins with the last bus leaving Mereoak at 9.40am.
The shuttle buses will then start running again from Bramley to Mereoak at 12noon with the last bus leaving Bramley at 3pm.
The charge for the shuttle bus journey will be £2 per passenger payable in CASH on the day.
Transfer of entries
You are able to transfer your entry to another runner by logging in to your FR Systems account (link in your confirmation email) to amend the details and transfer your place. All transfers/amendments of distance should be completed before 8 February 2025. If you wish to change distance please email bramley@readingroadrunners.org
Pregnancy and childbirth
As part of our commitment to being an inclusive race, to support female athletes and be a SheRACES Accredited event – if you have just become pregnant before the race or indeed have had a child since you entered and are unable to transfer your entry to another runner please contact us on the email address above.

Trophies for both race distances
1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female
1st male and female in 40-49 category
1st male and female in 50 – 59 category
1st male and female in 60+ category
(a runner can only win one individual trophy)
Team – 1st male team and 1st female team*
*A team is first three runners to finish in club vests and registered to be running for the club on the entry form. The timings used will be gun time. Race Adjudicators decision is final.

Age limits are 18 years for both 10 mile and 20 mile races.
No headphones are permitted (this includes bone conductors), this is not a closed road race and all participants need to be aware of instructions being given. If you are seen wearing headphones you may be disqualified.
No dogs, buggies or pushchairs
Participants in the 20 mile race will have needed to reach the 10 mile point within 2 hours of the start to continue on for a further lap
In completing this entry I declare that I, or anyone that I am paying for, will not compete in the run unless medically fit to do so and that, in any event, I/we will compete at my/our own risk. I/we accept that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise in consequence of my/our participation in the event. I/We understand that entry fees are non-refundable. I understand that for safety reasons that this entry should not be given to anyone other than the person identified above.
I also hereby give my permission to pass my/our details to parties directly involved with the running of this event and to use my/our name, quotes, video footage, photographic likeness for marketing and promotional purposes. I/We will familiarise myself with the race rules and information provided in the race information sent prior to the event.
Please note that information an entrant adds upon entry, in relation to any medical condition, will be given to our medical team as per England Athletics rules.
Also, for health and safety it is requested that all competitors complete, before the day of the race, the medical information template which will be printed on the reverse of each runner’s number along with your car registration number if you are driving to the event.
An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
